Joseph Mounayer

Joseph Mounayer is a sommelier, educator, and wine leader whose career spans hospitality, competition, and international wine advocacy. He serves as President of ASLIB, the Association des Sommeliers du Liban, and is Head of Wine at Götaplatsgruppen.

His work extends across both restaurant leadership and the wider global wine community. Joseph is an ambassador for Citadelles du Vin in Lebanon and Sweden, The Golden Vines in Lebanon and the Gulf, and Mondial des Vins Extrêmes in Lebanon and Sweden. He has also served as a sommelier judge in national competitions in Sweden, Denmark, and Lebanon.

At Sommeliers Academy, Joseph brings a strong combination of practical hospitality experience, international perspective, and professional tasting discipline to his teaching.

Jean Vincent Ridon is an internationally recognized sommelier and educator whose career reflects the highest level of professional achievement. He was named Best Sommelier of South Africa and has built a career defined by competition, education, and professional excellence.

His accomplishments include earning the ASI Diploma Gold, becoming a semi-finalist in Master of Port, and competing as a candidate in Best Sommelier of the World 2026. Alongside his success in competition, Jean Vincent is an experienced wine educator with a clear commitment to developing the next generation of sommeliers through structured tasting, service standards, and deep wine knowledge.

As Manager of Sommeliers Academy, he brings elite-level credentials together with a disciplined and practical approach to wine education.
